What are the materials and characteristics of industrial plugs and sockets?
Industrial plugs and sockets are also called waterproof plugs and sockets, IEC309 plugs and sockets, and European standard (European style) plugs and sockets-that is, European standard plugs and sockets. Because of their waterproof and dustproof features, they are widely used in industrial power distribution. The main function is to connect the power supply and use it for transmission and distribution.
Industrial plugs and sockets are generally selected to use PBT or aluminum for production on the shell, and industrial plugs and sockets produced by PBT materials are currently used because PBT is a relatively strong plastic that can withstand various harsh environments.
Industrial plug and socket material and characteristics
1. Plastic core parts: The core parts of the waterproof plug and socket series products are made of fireproof plastic (nylon) material. Under normal working conditions, it can withstand 120℃. In the flame retardant test (850℃ glow wire), there is no visible flame, no continuous glow, and the silk paper does not catch fire. The flame is extinguished within 30 seconds after the glow wire is removed, and the glow is extinguished.
2. Pins and sleeves: using high-quality imported copper materials, with good connector function and anti-corrosion function.
3. Shell: The shells of waterproof plug and socket series products are made of imported high-quality plastic (nylon), which can reach 90℃ without deformation under normal use, and the technical index of -40℃ does not change.
A waterproof socket is a plug-and-socket connection body with a waterproof function and can provide a safe and reliable connection of electricity and signals.
